    Skype, Hangouts, and WhatsApp. the last one I don't even know how to get it to work -_-;

    What'sApp is a bit like skype but it uses your mobile number rather a valid email

    I suggest that you try all of those apps. For me, all of those are nice to use. There are also other apps aside from those.

      I have been using different messaging apps. There are so many apps available in the market now. The problem is that people have their own preferences with the apps that they are using.

      Using multiple apps for the same purpose made me feel like I'm doing a chore. I just decided for one and commit to it.

    For WhatsApp, it works like a your normal messaging app. You can explore it but there are only a few countries which use it extensively.

    cant ever get WhatsApp to work... i must not be doing things right

    still wish i had people in the area to hang out with or knew to talk to on Skype at least... I've got hardly any friends in my area. but thats for another chat i think...

      I think you should use the most commonly used app on your location. In that way, you would be able to interact with more people.

    There are simpler apps out there but those you mentioned are really trying hard to make the experience easier.
