What can you say if a person only get attracted to the opposite sex whenever he/she is drunk? Once sober, he/she would go back liking people of his/her own sex.

  • #2
What? Is that even possible? Anyway, they say that when a person is drunk, the truth comes out. I guess that the person is straight?

Whenever we are drunk, we lose the ability to conceal who we are, so that person is straight. It is not true that he/she is gay.

jackass What could he get in hiding his true sexuality? That person is straight! There is nothing to be ashamed of.

I think so. That person is straight. On why he likes his own gender when sober remains to be a great puzzle.

Oh. That is a weird person. Why is he so complicated? I mean, does he have a dual personality or something?

sexualdepth I think yes, and he is very unstoppable in life, like you really can't control his personality, and sometimes you feel ashamed of other things because of him.

Katherina001 I was thinking about his sexuality, maybe that is the one he has.

  • #4
In that case, I do believe that that person is truly attracted to the opposite sex and is just pretending to be attracted to his/her own sex. Maybe he/she hasn't accepted that in his/herself yet.

He or she is pretentious, huh? OR is he or she really that confused with his or her true identity? If that's the case then he or she shouldn't be drinking if there's a side of him or her that comes out like that.

I think that this is a weird case. Actually, I have not encountered anyone who has this kind of condition.

  • #5
So, I guess that person needs to have a psychological check or something like that?

He or she has been having a serious identity crisis there, huh? Yeah, she should get himself/herself checked by a professional so he/she should stick to the gender he/she feels like.

He's just wanting to get some attention and has been faking it the whole time. He could be great at acting drunk and acting like he is attracted to the opposite or same-sex. He's a great pretender, don't you think?

  • #6
I do believe that the person who experiences that is somehow confused regarding his/her sexual identity. Maybe he/she needs some reflection in order to know who he/she really likes.

I do not think that those people are confused. I guess that they are hiding their true sexuality. They could be real straight people, although they pretend that they are not. But, then, what do they gain from it?

He or she needs to lay low when it comes to drinking. It will not end well if he or she is experiencing this when he or she is drunk.

AnniePath is right. They should take this piece of advice, they should lay off the alcohol for a change and they should think for a long time if they'd finally decide about their true identity. That will surely help!

He or she is bisexual, huh? Okay, I think that would be weird but it is normal to be attracted to the opposite and same-sex all at once if you're bisexual. So yea, those type of people are bisexual to be considered.

I agree that person is bisexual if he or she suddenly shifts into liking the same-sex then shifts to liking the opposite sex. Drunk or not but the intentions are there, it is clear that he or she likes both men and women so yes, in conclusion, he or she is bisexual. In denial? Why would he or she be in denial about his or her true gender?

Oh, is that what you think? But why it shows only when a person is drunk?

But he/she becomes bisexual only when drunk then goes back to being gay once sober! That is simply so strange.

If that were my friend, I'd tell him or her about that side of him or her when he or she is drunk. I wanted to know if he or she is just messing around or has something to do with his or her identity crises that I might help him or her with.

I guess he or she is just craving for attention and he or she is intentionally doing that for you all to notice it. Of course, if he or she draws attention, some might consider getting turned on by it.

That person has an identity crisis as he/she doesn't know which one to actually like. But I believe that when he/she is drunk, that is the time that the reality is visible.

Yes. And you need to record a video as he/she might not believe your story that he/she changed his/her preference when he/she was drunk.

That person should make up his/her mind. He/She should know what his/her sexuality truly is. That person should not confuse the people around him.

It shows that his or her sexual orientation now is just a phase and still can't get enough of how he or she usually behaves when he or she used to be straight. How pretentious of them.

cutestman but what if she is actually going on a phase as of the moment? Then during those times when she's intoxicated or drunk, well, it shows that she truly is a woman by heart and soul and is just pretending to like women as well. Is she a femme lesbian or just confused? No one knows exactly.

That person is a good actor. How can he keep on acting during his sober state or in his drunken state whichever one is the real one.

An opportunist, don't you think? He or she would be enjoying so much the best of his or her both worlds when he or she is sober and drunk. But isn't he or she ashamed of doing those kinds of pretentious acts? It's pretty obvious that he or she is that kind of opportunist.

I think the real one is his drunken state. Well, if he is deeply in denial, he will do whatever it takes to make people think that he is not really straight.

  • #11
Weird as in why is there a need for him or her to change his or her true identity? Look at what happens when he or she gets way too much drink, he or she suddenly forgets his or her new identity? Hmm, weird and quite sketchy enough for me.

Maybe that person is shy about his/her real identity. Maybe he/she is not comfortable about sharing to the public his/her real identity.

Fransha33 but why is it thhat he/she needs to pretend this whole time? He/She should stick to where he/she is most comfortable, remember that drunk people are true to themselves, I guess that whenever he/she is drunk he/she just goes back to his/her original gender identity, he/she might as well just stick to that for good.

Sketchy. Quite sketchy, how is he or she unaware of how he or she behaves when he or she is intoxicated? She might end up making out with the opposite sex then when he or she is sober he or she suddenly acts like he or she is gay or lesbian again? What kind of magic is that?

  • #12
Are you sure that he was really drunk and not just tipsy every time the person sleeps with the opposite sex? There's a chance that the person is bisexual and is just using the drunk excuse in order to sleep with people from the opposite sex

Was about to ask her the same question. Because I've had a female friend who's like that as well. She ended up admitting that she's a bisexual and not lesbian in the end

  • #13
How often does that happen? Because if it happens on almost a daily basis, there's a chance that your friend has a drinking problem and addicted to sex

Does your friend get mad at you when you talk about those drunken encounters and insists that he/she is gay? Because if your gets mad at you because of it, I would suggest that your friend has to need to see a specialist in order to sort things out with him/her
